FIRST TRIMESTER PREGNANCY UPDATE!

My first trimester update and first official bump photo! 😭🤰🏼

Casey and I kept the pregnancy to ourselves for the 1st trimester partly out of uncertainty and fear but also just to enjoy it between the two of us 💛

While we took in as many moments of joy as possible, we also took things day by day which I think is totally understandable! 

So I actually didn’t take a single photo or write down a single note about weekly feelings or cravings… I did that the first pregnancy and didn’t know if I could do that again only to have it taken away. 

SO here is the first photo I’ve ever taken of the bump! 👏🏼

We FINALLY told our parents at 13 weeks pregnant after being officially told that we made it into the 2nd trimester! 🙌🏼🌈

In the photo above, we are officially 14 weeks pregnant and could not be more excited and thankful! 🙏🏼 

We actually didn’t find out we were pregnant until we were almost 7 weeks because we didn’t think it could happen so soon!

This is crazy but we are actually measuring back to the day of our D&C after our miscarriage which makes this not only crazy but a genuine miracle in our hearts (you can read about our miscarriage HERE)

1st Trimester Symptoms:

• I had all day nausea and had to keep snacks on me at ALL times! Crackers and toast were life!
• Spotting almost the entire 1st trimester, mostly after any type of physical activity, so I was on “pelvic rest” for the majority of my 1st trimester, this was harder on my mental state than I ever imagined! I did not partake in physical activity the entire 1st trimester
• Comfort food was all I wanted! 
• CRAZY dreams started before I even knew I was pregnant 
• My boobs literally grew two sizes overnight and hurt SO badly!
• I was constantly using the bathroom 

Once second trimester hit I was cleared for light movement and allowed to slowly increase according to how I am feeling. I definitely learned QUICKLY that every pregnancy and every BODY is so different!

I want to and plan on sharing this journey with all of you because this truly is a miracle that I know SO many of you have been helping pray for which we are so thankful for! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

AH!!!! I can’t believe I have a little mini us inside of me!!! 🙌🏼😭🌈💕💙 SOOO ready for this journey!
