Recommendations for 48 Hours In Vegas!

WRITTEN BY:

Casey and I needed a little husband & wife getaway, and I really wanted to step into my mid thirties with a fresh, vibrant energy so we ventured to Vegas for 48 hours! ✨🥂

Refer to this blog if you are visiting Vegas anytime soon! 💖

PLACES WE ATE:

  • STK (steakhouse) inside Cosmopolitan: highly recommend! Incredible upbeat vibe with amazing food and drinks!
  • Matteo’s (Italian) inside the Venetian: true authentic Italian food. Some of the best pasta I have had since visiting Italy! A much more relaxed, quieter vibe than STK.

PLACES THAT WE WANT TO TRY NEXT TIME:

  • Tao (Asian Bistro) inside the Venetian: apparently a really fun upbeat vibe with amazing food!
  • Carbone (Italian) inside Aria: this was the most recommended Italian restaurant but reservations were booked out a month in advance!

SHOWS:

  • Absinthe: this was by far the most recommended show to us and it is the one we chose to see! It’s kind of a mix of comedy, circus, and dance. We really enjoyed it! It is defined as “raunchy” and that is very fitting haha you must have an open mind in our opinion!
  • Other top recommended shows were anything Cirque du Soleil with O, Beatles Love, and Michael Jackson being the top recommended! I have seen O and the Beatles and loved both of them!

PLACES TO STAY:

  • We stayed at Caesars Palace and it was the perfect location for us, especially since Absinthe was right outside the hotel. We stayed in the Palace Tower which was located directly by the pool so we could take the elevator down and literally walk out to the pool. This is also the side of the strip that we really like.
  • Other places we have stayed and loved are the Cosmopolitan, Aria, and Encore

Before diving into the Vegas scene, we started the weekend off at Top Golf which is always a fun activity! Casey and I LOVE to travel but we usually travel with family and friends and this was our first trip since our honeymoon that we traveled just the two of us!!! I never thought Vegas could be a “relaxing getaway” haha but it was so amazing!
