BERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL

WRITTEN BY:

BERRY PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL

I have always loved every type of smoothie and smoothie bowl and this “Berry Protein Smoothie Bowl” recipe is simple and amazing!

The consistency is perfect and it is easy to adjust the ingredients to make it according to YOUR likings! Smoothie bowls are also fun because you can add all sorts of toppings to make it more of your own creation as well as add fun nutrients and flavors.

I have found that Nancy’s Oatmilk Yogurt helps create a thicker consistency when trying to make more of a smoothie bowl versus just a smoothie. You can use any type of yogurt, but I do try and stay dairy free so this is the current yogurt I am enjoying!

Throughout pregnancy I have really been struggling to hit my daily protein needs, so these smoothie bowls are a perfect way to sneak in quite a bit of protein! I used Vanilla Vegan Pro which is a plant based protein, but another great option for this smoothie would be Level 1 Blueberry Muffin! Both of these proteins are a slower digesting protein so they will keep you fuller longer!

Let me know if you give this a try and what toppings or other ingredients you decide to put in yours! ENJOY!
